The Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) has announced that ten political parties are set to participate in the upcoming local government (LG) elections scheduled for this Saturday. The CROSIEC chairman, Dr. Mike Ushie, confirmed the participation of these parties and highlighted the commission’s readiness to conduct a free, fair, and transparent election across the state’s local government areas.
The election will allow residents to vote for candidates to fill various local government positions, aiming to ensure effective local governance in the region.
