At the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, Kendrick Lamar dominated the night with eight wins, including top honors in categories such as Lyricist of the Year and Impact Track. However, Nigerian artists Burna Boy and Odumodublvck, despite their nominations in Best Live Performer and Best International Flow, respectively, did not secure any wins.
The awards recognized major contributions to the hip-hop scene but saw these two Nigerian stars go home empty-handed.
