In the first quarter of 2024, 265 secondary schools in Anambra State reportedly received no funding from Governor Charles Soludo’s administration. This situation has raised concerns among stakeholders, including the Parent-Teacher Association and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), who are alarmed at the lack of financial support for education.
The funding deficit could impact the quality of education and infrastructure in these schools, leading to calls for urgent government intervention to address the funding gap and ensure that students have access to necessary resources.
