Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has suspended a commissioner who was accused of being involved in an affair with a married woman. The commissioner, identified as Aminu Kanta, is facing allegations of misconduct which reportedly took place in the state.
The suspension is effective pending the outcome of an investigation into the matter. This step has been taken as part of a broader effort to uphold accountability and discipline within the state’s leadership.
