As a historic institution dedicated to girl-child education, the school has made strides in molding responsible women over the past seven decades.While touring the school, Peter Obi learned of its urgent need for infrastructure improvements. He called on the Old Girls Association to rally around their alma mater and do more to support the school’s development. He proposed a 5-year project plan to address the infrastructure challenges, adding that with proper implementation, the school’s 75th anniversary would be marked by significant improvements in its facilities.Peter Obi concluded by reiterating that investments in education are vital to national development, emphasizing that “a New Nigeria remains possible” through sustained efforts in uplifting the educational sector.
