In a continued push for inclusivity, the Obidient Movement has announced a final nomination call to fill gaps in underrepresented states across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. Following an impressive turnout of nearly 2,000 submissions, the Movement’s steering committee identified states needing more nominations to ensure balanced representation.
Supporters are encouraged to submit nominations by October 30th at 9 a.m., with the aim of establishing a more comprehensive and fair assembly as the Movement shapes its vision for a “New Nigeria.” The initiative reflects the spirit of national collaboration central to the Obidient vision, which seeks voices from all regions to join in discussions on governance reform and a shared Nigerian future.
The series of Regional Engagement/Consultation meetings will kick off on November 1st, gathering nominated persons to discuss key issues and aspirations across different zones. This schedule includes sessions across all regions:
- North Central: Friday, November 1st | 4 PM
- South West: Friday, November 1st | 8 PM
- North West: Saturday, November 2nd | 4 PM
- South East: Saturday, November 2nd | 8 PM
- South South: Sunday, November 3rd | 4 PM
