For the umpteenth time, Nigeria has been plunged into total darkness following another collapse of the national grid, leaving millions without power and businesses struggling to operate. In a social media post that quickly went viral, DrMo expressed the frustration felt by many Nigerians, quoting Peter Obi to highlight the issue.
“This recurring tragedy is a glaring testament to what Mr. @PeterObi calls the failure of leadership and the systemic neglect of our critical infrastructure,” DrMo posted, calling out the need for urgent reform. “This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a national emergency. Nigerians deserve better: leadership that is accountable and responsive.”
Obi, known for his advocacy for good governance, has frequently emphasized the importance of an overhauled power sector and the need to end Nigeria’s dependence on an unreliable grid. “It’s unacceptable that a nation so rich in resources remains in the dark,” Obi has said, stressing the urgency of real reform in the power sector.
