
Senator Tony Nwoye of Anambra North recently appealed to the University of Abuja to admit five students from his constituency. In his letter to the Vice-Chancellor, he described the appeal as a “passionate request” for the students, whose academic records meet the institution’s standards, to be considered under the university’s discretionary list. Nwoye clarified that he does not personally know the students, emphasizing his role as an advocate for his constituents.
