Recently, at the Leadership Conference on Africa at Yale University, there were several thought-provoking sessions. After Mr. @PeterObi concluded his presentation, the stage was set for Dr. @alexottiofr, the Governor of Abia State, shared his experiences and accomplishments. He recalled that during his time as Managing Director of Diamond Bank, he publicly recognized Mr. Peter Obi’s remarkable achievement of leaving several million for his successor both in dollars and Naira in savings across various accounts, including clearing all previous teachers salaries pensions and gratuities as Governor —a feat that remains noteworthy to this day.
Hearing Dr. @alexottiofr, on the 14th of November 2024, at Yale University, openly attributes his successes to the visionary leadership of Mr. @PeterObi was both inspiring and humbling. It underscored the enduring power of leading by example and the ripple effects of a single leader’s dedication to positive change.
