Peter Obi recently paid tribute to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, describing him as a “younger brother” and praising his contributions to humanity and the Anambra South Senatorial District. Obi shared that he last interacted with Ubah at a burial in Nnewi on July 12, where Ubah expressed his admiration for Obi’s commitment to progress in Nigeria. Despite their different political affiliations, Ubah pledged to work together with Obi for the betterment of their community.
Obi also lauded Ubah’s philanthropic efforts through the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, which focused on education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation. He extended prayers for Ubah’s family and emphasized the significant loss to Anambra and the nation at large.
