Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has taken up a new role as the Global Head of Soccer for the Red Bull group. He explained that this opportunity offers him a platform to share his extensive experience and learn new things without the pressure of managing matches every few days.
Klopp mentioned that after nearly 25 years on the sidelines, he is excited about the chance to help develop football talent across Red Bull’s network of clubs, which includes RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, and the New York Red Bulls. His role will be more focused on mentoring coaches and management, rather than direct team management, and he looks forward to contributing to the broader development of football.
