Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has shared a positive update on the fitness of rising star Lamine Yamal, confirming that the young talent is improving but will not feature in the upcoming match against Brest.
Speaking about Yamal’s recovery, Flick stated:
“Lamine Yamal feels much better; today, he did very good. He will miss the game against Brest as we will be careful, but we hope to have Lamine back on Saturday… maybe on the bench. In any case, we’ve no rush.”
The 16-year-old prodigy has been a key figure for Barcelona this season, and his absence has been felt. Flick emphasized the need for patience to ensure Yamal’s full recovery before his return to competitive action.
Barcelona fans will be hopeful to see the youngster back soon as the team continues to compete on multiple fronts.
