A DStv crew traveling to Uyo to cover Nigeria’s AFCON qualifier against Libya faced a tragic incident on their journey. One crew member was shot dead in an attack along the Isseke-Orlu road in Ihiala, Anambra State. Fortunately, six others were rescued by security forces, though efforts to rescue the seventh member are still ongoing.
The crew was en route to cover the AFCON qualifier match scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
