UMUAHIA — Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has confirmed that the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the recent Supreme Court judgment concerning the Labour Party leadership dispute was officially received today.

Governor Otti made this known while addressing journalists on Saturday, noting that the CTC validates the court’s ruling which effectively sacked Julius Abure as the party’s national chairman.
“The Certified True Copy of the Supreme Court judgment has been received today, and it confirms exactly what was pronounced in the open court,” Governor Otti stated.
He emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and maintaining internal party democracy, adding that the Labour Party must now move forward with unity and a clear sense of purpose.
The receipt of the CTC is expected to further settle lingering disputes and bring clarity to the party’s leadership structure following weeks of tension and conflicting interpretations of the court’s verdict.
