The Obidient Movement, a growing political force advocating for a new and accountable Nigeria, has announced a nationwide virtual general meeting scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM WAT via Zoom.
In a statement released to members and supporters, the Movement extended a formal invitation to all committed Obidients across the country and in the diaspora, emphasizing the importance of unity and action ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The virtual gathering will feature a special guest appearance by, H.E. Peter Obi, whose recent birthday celebration was marked by a nationwide “Obidient Day of Service.” The initiative mobilized volunteers for community-based projects and outreach, reflecting the group’s core values of service and civic responsibility.
During the meeting, organizers will:
Announce the winners of the Peter Obi Birthday Challenge,
Unveil the next strategic phase of the Obidient Movement. Launch new coordinated activities toward 2027, and Share updates and engagement opportunities for supporters nationwide.
According to the organizers, the meeting represents a critical juncture in the Movement’s mission to “rescue Nigeria” through active citizenship, grassroots organizing, and issue-based political engagement.
“The road to 2027 begins now. It’s not just a meeting, it’s a movement of conscience,” the statement read. “Obidients must come prepared to take responsibility and play their role in building a New Nigeria that is POssible.”
