
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have returned to the country after a troubling ordeal in Libya. Their chartered flight was diverted to a remote airport in Al Abraq, leaving the team stranded for over 12 hours without proper assistance.
The team had flown to Libya for the second leg of their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifier but encountered several logistical issues, including the lack of transportation from the airport and a lack of food and internet access during their wait.
