A tragic incident occurred in Lagos on October 11, 2024, when a 45-year-old man named Kazeem drowned in the Odo Tente River, located between Lagos and Ogun states. Kazeem reportedly consumed a hard drug, suspected to be “Colorado,” before the incident. Under the influence, he became agitated and ran into the river, where he drowned.
The police have confirmed the incident and launched an investigation. His family chose to bury him near the river, following traditional practices.
