Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that defender Micky van de Ven remains sidelined but is progressing well in his recovery.
Speaking to the media, Postecoglou stated: “Micky van de Ven is still a good couple of weeks away. He is out on the grass and he’s training, but he’s still a couple of weeks away. We’re hoping by the middle of December, he’s back and involved and playing.”
Van de Ven, a key figure in Spurs’ defense since joining the club, sustained a hamstring injury earlier this season. His return is eagerly anticipated as Tottenham aims to maintain their strong form in the Premier League.
