Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has defended his approach to integrating young Brazilian forward Endrick into the team. Addressing concerns about the 17-year-old’s limited playing time, Ancelotti explained:
“You say that Endrick is not playing a lot, that I’ve not given him minutes… but you have to think that he’s very young. Endrick has to adapt, I don’t help him if I use him when the team is in a difficult moment.”
Ancelotti’s comments highlight his cautious strategy to ensure Endrick’s development is not rushed, prioritizing the player’s long-term growth over immediate impact. The highly-rated prospect, who joined Real Madrid amid significant expectations, continues to work towards cementing his place in the squad.
