Enugu State Government Acquires CNG Buses to Modernize Public Transportation The Enugu State Government has acquired a new fleet of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses in a strategic move to improve the state’s public transportation system and promote environmentally friendly alternatives. In response, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Mainstream Media, Mr. Dan Nwomeh, dismissed the rumors of a ban, stating that the state government has no immediate plans to prohibit tricycles or mini-buses. He clarified that the CNG buses are intended to complement, not replace, existing transportation modes.
