Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, was recently arrested and detained by authorities. His arrest stems from his alleged involvement in naira abuse, which includes spraying and mutilating currency notes during public events. This incident led to his detention at the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Lagos. Earlier in 2024, Bobrisky was also sentenced to jail following his conviction for currency violations.
Bobrisky’s legal issues have drawn significant public attention, and there have been conflicting reports regarding his detention and alleged privileges during his jail term. This includes claims that he may have been housed in a private apartment during his sentence.
