A major flood has impacted the Lagos-Benin Expressway near Ore in Ondo State, stranding hundreds of travelers. The road has been rendered impassable due to heavy rains, causing severe traffic disruptions. Many motorists were left stranded for hours as they sought alternate routes.
The flood reportedly covered a large section of the road, and travelers lamented the lack of proper drainage systems, calling for better infrastructure to prevent such incidents in the future.
The Ondo State government is working on measures to address these issues, including the deployment of machinery for drainage and erosion control.
