Abia State Governor Alex Otti has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Eze Godwin Irononso Ezekwesiri, the Ochi 1 of Isuochi Ancient Kingdom in Umunneochi Local Government Area.
In a statement, Governor Otti described the late traditional ruler as a respected leader who played a vital role in promoting peace and development within his community. He extended his condolences to the royal family, the people of Isuochi, and the entire Umunneochi LGA, acknowledging the late monarch’s legacy of service and dedication.
The governor assured that the state government would stand with the family and the people of Isuochi during this period of mourning. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the royal family in the coming days.
