Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State recently expressed his condolences following the death of Hon. Olufunmi Olatunji, Chairman of the Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area (LCDA). Olatunji, who served as a dedicated member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was running for re-election, passed away on Monday night after a brief illness.
In a statement, Sanwo-Olu described Olatunji as a “loyal party man and committed democrat” who made impactful contributions to his community and Lagos State. The governor extended sympathies to Olatunji’s family, political colleagues, and the broader community, acknowledging the significant loss this represents to both the Eti-Osa East LCDA and the state as a whole.
