As of today, Hurricane Milton, which made landfall as a powerful Category 3 storm on October 9, is now weakening as it moves off the east coast of Florida. However, its effects are still being felt across the state, particularly in Central Florida, where heavy rain and strong winds persist. Key cities such as Orlando, Tampa, and Fort Myers have experienced significant impacts, leading to widespread closures, including that of Orlando International Airport (MCO)
In response to the storm, MCO has resumed limited operations and is expected to process a large number of passengers today, following extensive cleanup efforts.
