Toke Makinwa recently opened up about her experiences in her 20s, revealing that she spent much of that time in a committed relationship, following one man and making decisions she now considers naive. In her reflections, she acknowledged dating too seriously at that age, largely influenced by societal expectations that women should prioritize becoming “someone’s wife.” She now advises young women to explore, enjoy life, and not rush into relationships with the mindset that they must lead to marriage.
