Festus Keyamo, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation, has denied any plan to revoke the airstrip license issued to Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, despite a recent call by the House of Representatives to halt private airstrip licenses over security concerns. Keyamo clarified that the airstrip at Canaanland, authorized for Bishop David Oyedepo’s church, followed all legal protocols. He emphasized that the project had undergone necessary environmental and safety evaluations before approval, asserting that private entities like the church are permitted to own airstrips as long as they comply with regulatory standards.
