Luka Modric recently expressed pride after setting two remarkable records at Real Madrid. The 39-year-old Croatian midfielder became the oldest player to appear in La Liga for the club, breaking Ferenc Puskas’ long-standing record. Modric first surpassed Puskas’ record when he featured against Cádiz in May at the age of 38 years and 238 days. He further extended this achievement with his consistent appearances during the 2024/25 season.
Additionally, Modric is poised to break another club record by becoming the oldest player ever to feature for Real Madrid in any competition.
