Lagos witnessed a tragic series of accidents recently involving multiple vehicles, including a diesel-laden tanker and a container truck. The accidents, which occurred around the Maryland axis, resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left many others injured. According to LASEMA officials, the tanker suffered brake failure and crashed into several vehicles. A second accident involved a collision between a container truck and a MACK truck, which left the container truck driver with severe leg injuries.
Emergency responders, including LASEMA, the police, and other agencies, worked tirelessly to rescue victims, manage traffic, and recover the damaged vehicles. While the specific number of injured victims is still uncertain, many were rushed to various hospitals before the emergency teams arrived.
