Hon. Jibrin Abdullahi Muregi, the Chairman of Mokwa Local Government in Niger State, has tragically passed away following an auto crash. The accident occurred on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, along the Bida-Mokwa-Jebba federal highway. Muregi’s car reportedly collided with another vehicle in a fatal incident.
The Niger State government and residents have expressed their grief over the untimely loss, highlighting Muregi’s dedication to public service. Emergency responders were on the scene shortly after the crash to assist other victims.
