The Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) has urged Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, to prioritize the wellbeing of young detainees in her humanitarian initiatives. This comes as CISLAC voiced concerns about the health and treatment of #EndBadGovernance protestors reportedly detained in poor conditions. CISLAC encouraged Mrs. Tinubu to view these youths as her own children, urging compassion and a swift release to prevent further harm. They called on her to leverage her position to advocate for their immediate release and ensure humane treatment for all detainees, especially those held under questionable circumstances.
