The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, recently bestowed a prestigious honor upon Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, by unveiling a golden statue in her likeness. The ceremony, held at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), was part of a larger event marking the unveiling of the “Senator Oluremi Tinubu Way,” a 2.7-kilometer road, and a grand pavilion. During the event, the First Lady expressed her gratitude and announced a ₦1 billion donation toward OAU’s landscaping and horticultural efforts, further cementing her commitment to education and community development.
