Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has reiterated his commitment to the advancement of healthcare and education, describing them as fundamental indices of national development. In line with this vision, he visited the School of Midwifery at Holy Rosary Hospital, Emekuku, Owerri, where he engaged with students and pledged his continued support for the training of healthcare professionals.
During the visit, Obi emphasized the importance of strategic investments in education and healthcare, noting that these sectors serve as the foundation of any thriving nation. He highlighted the need to empower healthcare professionals, recognizing their crucial role in national and global development.
As part of his support for the institution, Obi donated ₦15 million to aid the school in its mission of producing well-trained and highly competent healthcare workers.
