President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will host Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the State House in Abuja on Sunday, November 17, 2024. This marks the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria in 17 years, with the last being Manmohan Singh in 2007. The visit aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between Nigeria and India, focusing on areas such as energy, defense, and economic collaboration.
During the visit, both leaders are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation and sign memoranda of understanding to enhance engagement in critical sectors.
