South Korea has demanded the immediate withdrawal of North Korean troops from Russia, where they are reportedly supporting Moscow in its war against Ukraine. South Korea’s National Intelligence Service revealed that around 1,500 North Korean special forces have already been deployed to Russia’s Far East, undergoing training.
Seoul sees this as a significant security threat and has summoned the Russian ambassador to express its concerns. The deployment marks a deepening military collaboration between Russia and North Korea.
