He announced the end of his contract with the label, emphasizing that it was an amicable decision and a natural progression in his career. Shallipopi has since launched his own record label, Plutomania Records, which already features artists like Zerry DL and Tega Boi. This move marks a significant step towards his independence and control over his artistic journey.
The exit follows a trend among Nigerian artists, as fellow Dapper Music signee Seyi Vibez also left the label earlier this year, raising questions about the label’s future. Shallipopi’s fans are looking forward to his new projects under Plutomania Records.
