
Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Tinubu, has been appointed as an ambassador for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education. The commission’s executive secretary, Muhammad Idris, announced her appointment during a recent visit, highlighting her dedication to supporting disadvantaged communities.
This new role will focus on promoting educational access and initiatives to support children in vulnerable circumstances, particularly the Almajiri, a group often associated with begging and in need of educational resources.
Tinubu-Ojo expressed her commitment to improving the conditions of these children, emphasizing education as part of her father’s legacy.
