Nigerian activist and social media personality, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, recently raised over ₦21.6 million in less than 24 hours after launching his non-governmental organization (NGO). His goal focuses on improving public primary school education in Nigeria by making learning more engaging and equipping schools with modern tools like projectors. The donations came from numerous small contributions, with some as low as ₦72, showing widespread public support.
His largest single donation amounted to ₦2 million. Verydarkman has emphasized transparency and pledged to use the funds responsibly while setting a new standard for accountability in NGOs.
