President Bola Tinubu recently addressed the rising fuel prices in Nigeria, which have reached up to N1,000 per liter in some areas due to the removal of subsidies. In response to this, he urged Nigerians to consider switching to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), a more affordable alternative.
CNG costs around N230 per kilogram, offering substantial savings—up to 40% compared to petrol prices. Tinubu’s administration is investing heavily in this initiative, including the conversion of vehicles to CNG systems and expanding CNG stations across the country.
